Honest answers about pricing, timelines, materials, and what working with us actually looks like.
How much does flooring installation cost in Platte County?
Most homeowners in Platte County and the Kansas City Northland invest between $4 and $12 per square foot installed, depending on the material. Luxury vinyl plank starts around $4-$7/sq ft, laminate around $4-$8/sq ft, and hardwood typically runs $8-$14/sq ft installed. We provide free written estimates so you know exactly what to expect — no surprises.
How long does a typical flooring installation take?
A standard 1,000 sq ft single-room install of LVP or laminate takes 1-2 days. Hardwood with sand-and-finish can take 4-7 days because of drying time. Whole-home replacements usually wrap in 3-7 working days. We give you a firm schedule before we start.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Every quote includes an in-home measurement, a walkthrough of material options, and a written, itemized estimate. No pressure, no obligation, and no email signup required — just fill out the quote form.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — we are fully licensed for residential and commercial flooring work in Missouri and carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Proof of insurance is provided on request before any project begins.
What's the best flooring for homes with pets and kids?
Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is the top choice for Platte County families. It is 100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, comfortable underfoot, and stands up to muddy paws and dropped toys. Tile and engineered hardwood with a tough finish are strong runners-up.
Do you handle furniture moving and old floor removal?
Absolutely. Our standard install includes tear-out of existing flooring, haul-away of debris, and moving of standard furniture. We protect walls, baseboards, and adjacent rooms so your home is cleaner when we leave than when we arrived.
Which areas do you serve?
We proudly serve all of Platte County and the Kansas City Northland — including North Kansas City, Platte City, Parkville, Riverside, Weatherby Lake, Weston, and the surrounding communities.
Do you offer warranties on installation?
Yes. We back every installation with a written labor warranty in addition to the manufacturer's product warranty. We stand behind our work and will return to address any installation issue.
